The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Oyo State Council, has congratulated its Patron and benefactor, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, FNSE, on receiving three prestigious honours in the United Kingdom recently.

The congratulatory message made available to newsmen was jointly signed by the Chairman, Akeem Abas and Secretary, Temidayo Adu.
According to the NUJ, the awards were presented by GSFEN Business School and GSFEN Worldwide Limited in recognition of Sanusi’s visionary leadership, strategic innovation, and commitment to social progress development.

Sanusi, Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, received an Honourary Doctorate in Business Administration and the GSFEN Global Humanitarian Community Impact Award for dedication to social upliftment/ economic empowerment.

In addition, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Ibadan, was honoured with the GSFEN Award of Excellence for Hospitality and Sports Development, recognising its transformative impact on tourism growth, sustainability.
The council described the international honours as a source of pride to Oyo State and the Nigerian media community, noting they reflected Sanusi’s contributions to business development and humanitarian service.
The NUJ stated that the accolades showed Sanusi’s expanding influence on global business growth, sustainable development, and community impact, while projecting Oyo State positively worldwide through private sector leadership initiatives.
The council noted that the recognitions reflected the power of indigenous enterprise, innovation and purposeful leadership in driving inclusive economic progress, while elevating Nigeria’s image internationally across key global platforms.
The union said the honours further affirm Sanusi’s commitment to ethical entrepreneurship, philanthropy and youth empowerment, describing his achievements as exemplary models for emerging Nigerian business leaders nationwide and globally.
The NUJ congratulated its Patron and wished him continued success in service to humanity, Ibadanland, Oyo State and national development, inspiring future generations of entrepreneurs, innovators, and philanthropists globally.
