Aare Alawode also commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, for the historic reconstitution of the Oyo State Obas and Chiefs Traditional Council after decades.

In a statement personally signed by Aare Alawode and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, he described the development as a bold and timely step towards strengthening traditional institutions and promoting unity across the state.

According to him, the reconstitution of the Traditional Council will further enhance collaboration between the government and traditional rulers, particularly in addressing the security challenges confronting the country.

He noted that the emergence of Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as Chairman of the Council is well deserved, given his wealth of experience, wisdom, and deep understanding of governance and community leadership.

Aare Alawode expressed confidence that the reconstituted Council, under the leadership of the Olubadan, will serve as a strong platform for peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and grassroots engagement in Oyo State.
