The Oyo State Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources has announced the commencement of recruitment for Ad-Hoc Environmental Sweepers and Environmental Rangers, following the approval of Governor Seyi Makinde.
According to a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, the recruitment exercise is part of the state government’s renewed efforts to strengthen environmental management and improve cleanliness across all communities in Oyo State.
The ministry invited qualified and interested applicants to apply under the following categories:
1. Environmental Sweepers
Applicants for the Sweeper position are to submit written applications accompanied by two recent passport photographs. All applications must be addressed and submitted to:

2. Environmental Rangers
Applications for the position of Environmental Rangers will be received online only through the following link:

Environmental Rangers will support the enforcement of environmental laws and help curb illegal dumping of waste on roads, medians, bridges, streams, and other public spaces.
The ministry informed the public that the application deadline is November 21, 2025, and urged interested candidates to apply promptly.
