In its bid to curb financial related crimes capable of giving the country bad image, operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt Zonal Directorate have arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State
They were arrested on Friday, August 1, 2025 at various locations in Port Harcourt following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related activities.
Items recovered from them include different brands and models of vehicles, phones and laptops containing incriminating items.
According to EFCC, the suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation.
