The State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde has assured the people of Oyo and Ibarapa Zones that they would soon have their own State FM stations saying that his administration has just supported the Broadcasting Cooperation of Oyo State BCOS financially to achieve the goal.
Governor Makinde gave the assurance while reacting to the requests of Hon Peter Ojedokun representing Ibarapa North/Central state constituency, and the lawmaker representing Atiba State Constituency, Hon. Gbenga Oyekola, during the 2025 budget proposal event held at the state hallowed chambers today.
According to governor Seyi Makinde, he would not relent in extending the dividend of democracy to every zone of the state adding that the clamour for FM stations by the people of the zones would soon become a thing of the past.
