Dr Yunus Akintunde the Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District at the Senate in the National Assembly has concluded plans and arrangement to provide support to constituents and various artisan groups in the next round of Mega Empowerment And Capacity Development program scheduled to hold on Monday 4th November, 2024.
The program will attract special empowerment for various artisans including tailors, automobile mechanics, welders, farmers, traders across the eleven local governments within the Oyo Central Senatorial District who will be receiving items including sewing machines, working tools and equipments, grinding machines, welding tools, sprayers, bags of fertilizer, and working grants for traders.
It would be recalled that Senator Akintunde has supported about 250 tailors early in the year with training and sewing machines while he has also just concluded on training young people on GSM Phone Repair and online Networking and marketing techniques providing them working tools iPads and working grants for participants through a collaborative program in his capacity and notable donor agencies.
“We are specific and strategic on this project as usual, this initiative and intervention program this time is targeting the artisans, youths, women and the farming community through their various groups with expectations towards achieving desired objectives”.
