Oyo State Police Command has arrested thirty-two suspects for committing various crimes and offences in its bid to guarantee safety and security of residents of the State.
The Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Ayodele Sonubi during a press briefing disclosed that the suspects’ offences range from kidnapping, armed robbery and murders.
Briefing newsmen, the State Police Commissioner, Ayodele Sonubi reiterated the commitment of the Command at sustaining the present tempo of relative tranquility.
He stressed that the command has strategically improved on its engagement and feedback mechanism with key security stakeholders of the command about the best course for the actualisation of a safer and more peaceful State.
Parading the thirty-two suspects arrested in various parts of the state for crimes and offences including kidnapping, armed robbery and murders, CP Sonubi highlighted among other recovered items to have included one AK- 47 rifle, one locally made pistol, one cut to size locally made extended cartridge.
