Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II has appealed to the youths in the country to desist from travelling out of the country.
He made the appeal in an exclusive interview with BBC News Yoruba while speaking about the current economic woes facing the country with hyper-inflation.
Ooni of Ife said the federal government is aware of the challenges Nigeria as this critical time. He stressed that the economic pain is temporary, he urged people to endure that the country will bounce back.

As the paramount traditional rulers of Yoruba, Ooni offered prayer to God to strengthen Nigerians during this critical time.
He noted that it is easier to spoil things but difficult to rebuild.
While speaking about security situation in Abuja and other parts of the country, he urged federal government and security chiefs to double their efforts to protect Nigerians.
