Oyo state House of Assembly (OYHA) has suspended the Executive Chairman of Saki West Local Government, Honourable Sharafadeen Omirinde for allegedly diverted a sum of sixty three million naira for personal use.
The House took the decision at its plenary on Tuesday after x-raying the petition brought before it by members of the LG legislature which was signed by two-third of the councillors.
The councilors in their petition alleged that Hon. Omirinde spent a sum of N63million illegally on anti-party activities and others.
The OYHA directed that LG Chairman should step aside while his deputy take over affairs of the LG until the committee in-charge concluded investigation.
