Following the untold hardship Nigerians are facing in their pursuit to exchange old naira notes for new ones introduced by Central Bank Nigeria (CBN), the apex bank has bowed to pressure and extended the deadline for the exchange of old naira notes by 10 days.
According to a press statement issued on Sunday, the CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, said the new deadline is February 10, 2023.
